District of Columbia: Regional Addiction Prevention Inc. Anniversary
September 27, 2007 Regional Addiction Prevention (RAP) Inc., which provides substance abuse services, mental health assistance, and HIV education and treatment services, will celebrate its 38th anniversary with a free festival Sunday. Screenings for HIV and other health problems will be offered, and the African Heritage Dancers & Drummers will perform. The event takes place from noon to 7 p.m. at Langdon Park, Franklin and 20th streets NE in Washington.
