September 21, 2009 Update

Waiting lists for Americans with HIV/AIDS are back.

Will we break the standing 2005 record for ADAP Waiting lists of Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Idaho, Kentucky, Montana, Nebrasa, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Wyoming which eventually totaled 2,372 people? Of these, there were deaths in several states.

The most up to date situation is:
Arkansas: 0 individuals (program capped on September 2, 2009)
Iowa: 7 individuals
Kentucky: 50 individuals
Montana: 24 individuals
Nebraska: 70 individuals
South Dakota: 1 individual (as of September)
Wyoming: 5 individuals

We will be monitoring the situation in the following states who are expecting to start waiting lists in the near future:
Arizona
Hawaii
Idaho
Indiana
Tennessee
