"One Voice, Many Faces . . . United for Life"

August/September 2001

"One Voice, Many Faces . . . United for Life" was the theme for the 18th Annual AIDS Candlelight March, held on Sunday, May 20 at Watts Towers. This year's observance was sponsored by the African American AIDS Policy and Training Institute and featured music, inspirational messages from community leaders and free HIV testing provided by King-Drew Medical Center. Participants marched from Watts Labor Community Action Center to Watts Towers. For information about AAAPTI, call (213) 353-3610.
