Florida: Local AIDS Foundation to Receive Less Funding
March 23, 2004 The AIDS Healthcare Foundation in Jacksonville will receive
$300,000 less in federal Ryan White funds this year, city
officials announced Wednesday. The foundation is one of 40
nationwide whose funds were cut in the recently announced grant
awards. Jacksonville will receive $5 million for AIDS-related
support services for low-income residents with HIV/AIDS,
officials said.
