California: Talking About HIV With the White House

Northern California residents will have two opportunities soon to meet with the White House Office of National AIDS Policy to discuss ideas for a national HIV/AIDS strategy. ONAP will hold a community discussion on Oct. 16 in San Francisco and on Nov. 1 in Oakland. ONAP also is asking for online feedback, including recommendations from brainstorming sessions at the organization level, through its Web site. The San Francisco forum is 6-8 p.m. in the Robertson Auditorium of the Mission Bay Conference Center at the University of California-San Francisco's Mission Bay Campus, 1675 Owens St. Registration is not required but strongly encouraged at www.cmpinc.net/ONAP.
