U.S. News CNN's "Wolf Blitzer Reports" Features Weeklong Series on HIV/AIDS in United States, CNN Primetime Special SundayNovember 23, 2004

's "Wolf Blitzer Reports" this week is running a series of reports by senior medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta examining how the increasing popularity of the drug crystal methamphetamine is making HIV a threat to men who have sex with men (CNN transcript, 11/22). CNN on Sunday at 10 p.m is scheduled to air an hourlong "Dr. Sanjay Gupta Primetime Special," titled "Are You Positive?" Gupta will examine the "contemporary environment" of HIV/AIDS through stories from the United States' "heartland" and how the disease has emerged in "unexpected places." The special will be replayed on World AIDS Day on Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. (CNN release, 11/5). Back to other news for November 23, 2004
