Knoxville News-Sentinel Examines HIV/AIDS Epidemic in East Tennessee

August 15, 2005

The Knoxville News-Sentinel on Sunday began a seven-part series examining the HIV/AIDS epidemic in East Tennessee. The series, titled "Living Positive: HIV/AIDS in East Tennessee," will include articles on HIV prevention and education, how people living in rural areas and minority populations are increasingly affected by the disease and how changes to TennCare will affect HIV-positive people in the state. The series also includes a quiz, links to resources and excerpts from the diary of an HIV/AIDS case worker (Knoxville News-Sentinel, 8/14).
