WHO Bulletin Includes HIV/AIDS-Related Articles; Lancet Publishes Reports on HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria Treatment Access Issues

"Bulletin of the World Health Organization": WHO's February bulletin includes articles on treating HIV/AIDS in low-resource settings, prevention and treatment reviews, how public health institutes can improve global health conditions, and the efforts to curb "brain drain" of doctors and nurses in developing countries (WHO bulletin, February 2005).

"Emerging Consensus in HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis and Access to Essential Medicines," The Lancet: The U.N. Project Task Force on AIDS, Malaria, TB, Other Major Diseases and Access to Essential Medicines has published four separate reports on HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria and drug access and includes recommendations on how to strengthen health systems to curb the diseases and achieve the U.N. Millennium Development Goals (Ruxin et al., The Lancet, 2/12).
