Fact Sheet Discusses Myths About HIV Vaccine Research in African-American Communities

"Myths About HIV Vaccines and Vaccine Research," Black AIDS Institute, AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition: The fact sheet, released in recognition of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, addresses misconceptions within African-American communities about HIV/AIDS vaccine research. The groups hope that the fact sheet will help to promote African Americans' involvement in research efforts to develop an HIV vaccine (AVAC/BAI release, 12/7).
