Study Examines Health, Wealth Inequality Worldwide Resulting From HIV/AIDS

  • "Global Inequality of Life Expectancy Due to AIDS," BMJ: Danny Dorling, professor of human geography at the University of Sheffield, and colleagues examine how the rise in global health and wealth inequities that began in the 1980s has been intensified by Africa's HIV/AIDS epidemic. The authors also look at whether inequality is growing or declining over time (Dorling et al., BMJ, 3/18).
