Objectives of the Campaign

December 2002

Highlight the role played by stigma, discrimination and human rights violations in the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Combat stigma and discrimination by individuals and institutions towards people living with HIV/AIDS, their partners and families, as well as marginalized groups.
Increase the self-awareness and understanding of individuals and institutions about their role in contributing to stigma and discrimination.
