Why do we need to focus on stigma and discrimination?
Because we have to Live and let live.

Stigma and discrimination, under the slogan Live and let live, has been chosen as the theme for the World AIDS Campaign in 2002-2003.

The World AIDS Campaign brings world attention to specific issues in HIV/AIDS prevention and care within a specified time frame and provides the direction for activities around World AIDS Day on 1 December every year.

This paper provides all those interested in becoming involved in the World AIDS Campaign with a brief overview of the campaign issues, and ideas on how they can get involved. The activities proposed are not exhaustive in nature and will need to be adapted to suit local priorities, needs and circumstances.
