National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors logo Founded in 1992, NASTAD is a non-profit national association of state health department HIV/AIDS program directors who have programmatic responsibility for administering HIV/AIDS health care, prevention, education, and supportive services programs funded by state and federal governments.

NASTAD is dedicated to reducing the incidence of HIV infection in the United States and territories, providing comprehensive, compassionate, and quality care to all persons living with HIV/AIDS, and the development of responsible and compassionate public policies.
