U.S. News New Orleans: Dining for Life Event Will Benefit NO/AIDSJuly 15, 2003 On Thursday, July 17, the NO/AIDS Task Force will sponsor its eighth annual "Dining for Life" fundraiser. Participants can dine at one of more than 45 participating New Orleans restaurants, which will donate 25 percent of the day's proceeds to the AIDS service organization. The NO/AIDS Task Force offers a statewide AIDS hotline, early intervention services, prevention education, HIV testing and counseling, housing coordination, medication distribution, meal delivery and a food bank.
