"HIV 101," a four-hour training class, will be presented by the Broward County Health Department on Tuesday, May 31, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The class is recommended for individuals in professions whose certification does not specify continuing educations units but requires a certificate in HIV/AIDS training. CEUs are available for cosmetologists and barbers. The course will deal with topics including HIV prevalence and prevention, as well as the latest treatment developments.
