Medical News Wisconsin Participates in START TrialMay 17, 2011 Researchers from the Medical College of Wisconsin are taking part in Phase IV of the international Strategic Timing of Antiretroviral Treatment clinical trial, which seeks to determine the best time for asymptomatic persons with HIV to begin taking medications. The study, called START, has a goal of enrolling 4,000 HIV-positive men and women in 30 nations.
