Florida: 25-Mile Bike Ride Helps AIDS Charity

Sarasota's third annual AIDS Bike Ride takes place this Saturday, with riders gathering for registration at 8 a.m. in the YMCA parking lot, 8301 Potter Park Dr. The 25-mile ride will take the Legacy Trail to the Venice Train Depot and back. Seasoned as well as beginning bicyclists are welcome to participate; it is not necessary to ride the entire distance. The fundraiser benefits Trinity Charities, which assists people affected by HIV/AIDS in Sarasota and Manatee counties. For more information, visit www.trinitycharities.org or telephone 941-355-0847.
