A Poem by Frank

April 2011

The Master

You entered me without my permission.
You may have changed me in a physical sense
but you do not have the power
to change the core of me.

You will try to weaken me.
My physical body, you may succeed.
But with my mind and my soul,
you have no control.

I control this war you wage.
I will fight you till my last.
You will not take me easily.
Not while I still stand.

Because I am in the driver's seat, I control my life.
You are just a hitchhiking organism looking for a ride.
