Illinois: Health Department Offers STD Testing
April 8, 2011
In recognition of April's designation as STD Awareness Month, the DuPage County Health Department on Monday kicked off a "Get Yourself Tested" initiative. The department clinic offers confidential testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV -- plus focused physical examinations for other STDs and treatment if necessary -- for $50. Pursuant to state law, parental consent is not needed for patients age 12 and older. For more information, telephone 630-682-7400.
