North Carolina: Walk for AIDS

Sunday, April 9, is the date for the House of Mercy's 20th Anniversary Walk for AIDS in historic downtown Belmont. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Sisters of Mercy campus, and the event gets underway at 10 a.m. with a welcome by Eric Thomas, WBTV meteorologist and the walk's honorary chair. A picnic reception with entertainment by DJ Buddy Love and the One Voice Chorus will follow the walk. For more information, visit www.thehouseofmercy.org.
