California: Ceremony Held Ahead of National Native American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

March 21, 2011

On Friday, Native-American community members held a sunrise ceremony at the state Capitol ahead of National Native American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (March 20). After the ceremony, participants were invited to walk to the Sacramento Native American Health Center at 2020 J St., for lunch, educational videos, presentations, and cultural performances.
