Florida: National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day in Orlando

January 24, 2011

Feb. 7 is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, and a special commemoration is planned at Orlando's Beardall Senior Center, 800 S. Delaney Ave. Free HIV testing will be offered at the gathering, which will include discussions on community advocacy, substance abuse, prevention awareness, and unsung heroes in the battle against the virus.
