Questions & Answers: ResourcesQuestionI am an advocate for people living with HIV and have had a very difficult time finding reading materials for kids who are HIV positive. Your Web site is the only one I have found that is written for kids. I am very impressed. How did you water down the information but make it understandable? My questions are: Is a hard copy of this site available, especially "The Story of HIV" and "Meet the HIV"? The kids I work with do not have access to the Web. Are there other resources for kids? Keep up the great work. -- Advocate, Portland, Oregon USA AnswerThere are other books -- one specifically titled, "You and HIV: A day at a Time" by Lynn S. Baker, published by W.B. Saunders Company, 1991 -- that maybe useful to you. Also a book about disclosure titled, "How Can I Tell You" by Mary Tasker, published by the Association for the Care of Children's Health, 1992. Please continue visiting our sites... Who knows? Maybe there will be an announcement about our new publication titled "The Story of HIV" and "Meet the HIV." QuestionDo you have any information on summer camps for children with HIV/AIDS on the West Coast? AnswerTry Camp Pacific Heartland. Their Web site address is: www.camppacificheartland.org.
