Walgreens Starts HIV Campaign
December 2, 2010
On Tuesday, Walgreens launched its collaboration with the national Greater Than AIDS campaign with streaming HIV messages on its digital board in New York's Times Square. More than 200 stores in the pharmacy chain will display signs and materials from the HIV prevention campaign, which focuses on the black community. Each day next year, the firm's digital billboards in New York and Las Vegas will be used to display photos submitted by people celebrating "deciding moments" in responding to HIV/AIDS. In June, stores will help the campaign support "HIV Take Action" month with promotions and in-store services, including HIV testing.
