TheBody.com's World AIDS Day 2010 Video PSA Contest

Last month, TheBody.com asked, "If you had the chance to create your own World AIDS Day HIV awareness public service announcement (PSA), what would you say? What message would you want to get across?" We sent out a call for video PSAs to answer those questions, and you responded!

We got submissions from across (and outside of!) the country, from people of all ages. We picked 11 finalists and you voted. To determine our prize winners, we calculated the average rating each finalist received; the person with the highest rating took the crown.

Here is our winner (who takes home an Apple iPad) and runners-up (each of whom will receive a Flip video camera). Endless thanks to everybody who took the time to create and submit a video; you are each a perfect example of how everyone can be an activist, and how we can win the battle against HIV stigma and ignorance one person at a time.
