International AIDS Conference Day 2: Dr. Koh Speaks With Dr. Jack Stein on Drug Control Policy

Today is the second day of the International AIDS Conference in Vienna, Austria. I am honored to continue to represent the Department of Health and Human Services and to be part of the U.S. Delegation at the 2010 International AIDS Conference.

It was a pleasure to hear from today's plenary speakers who included: Vuyiseka Dubula (South Africa, Treatment Action Campaign), Anya Sarang (Russia, Audrey Rylkov Foundation for Health and Social Justice), and Former President William J. Clinton. Drug policy was one of the topics addressed in these plenary sessions.

I sat down to talk with Dr. Jack Stein from the U.S. Office of National Drug Control Policy, to hear his key takeaway messages from today's plenary. We also discussed the 2010 National Drug Control Strategy and its implications for the recently launched White House National HIV/AIDS Strategy.
