A central focus of the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) is increasing country ownership in HIV strategy, program design and implementation. This session will include presenters from two PEPFAR-supported countries who will discuss issues of leadership, management, health systems, and a comprehensive response to HIV in each country's context. There will be a discussion to identify common threads for action by governments, civil society and the private sector.
