Medical News Studies, Briefing Highlight Scientific Progress Toward Curbing HIV, TBMay 21, 2010 A recent briefing to launch a special issue of the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases focused on scientific progress in efforts aimed at curbing the spread of HIV and tuberculosis and called for policy incentives to spur further innovation, according to a Center for Global Health Policy press release. Anthony Fauci, director of NIH's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and other U.S. physician-scientists spoke at the briefing (5/20).
