Two Poems by LisaApril 2010 WallsSeasons gone, seasons lost; A heart locked the walls built high; Restless nights, fit of sleep; My soul within, held so tight; The World so big yet now so small; The fear, the doubt, the chains that bind; Love so sweet, so precious, so tender; The depths of pain one can feel; Change within has begun; Shade of the DemonAttempt at murder, violence, rape; World torn apart, you never cared; You left me dead, without my soul; Continuing on to do again; Unborn child you carried on; How can you live within yourself; Within your life you take away; Selfish acts, so evil, so dark; You're not human, you have no soul; When end is near, then you will be; So many lives you put at risk; Continue on your path of death; No one will cry, nor pity you; We will survive with hope & faith; Those left behind without a heart; Heaven above will shine upon; We will not suffer, no anger or pain; All fear is gone, our hearts strong; This article was provided by 2010 Poetry Month at TheBody.com.
