Illinois Ranks High for Rates of STDs

April 5, 2010

In recognition of April's designation as National STD Awareness Month, the Illinois Department of Public Health is distributing "Get Yourself Talking, Get Yourself Tested" toolkits to STD clinics and school-based health centers across the state. In 2008, Illinois ranked eighth and ninth, respectively, for rates of gonorrhea and chlamydia among U.S. states.
