Illinois: AIDS Testing Locator Now Available in Spanish

March 29, 2010

The Illinois Department of Public Health is expanding its "Text 2 Survive" feature to include Spanish-language information. Mobile phone users can text "centro" and their ZIP code to the number 36363, and they will receive instantly a confidential text reply in Spanish advising them where to access an HIV test. Texting "IL" to the same number will yield the same information in English.
