Ohio: HUD Gives 12 Grant Renewals to Groups in Summit

On Dec. 23, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced that all 12 grant renewals requested through the Akron/Barberton/Summit County Continuum of Care program had been renewed for another year. Among other grants, $131,598 was awarded to the Community AIDS Network for its Micah House project. In addition, the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority will receive $75,408 for its Shelter Plus Care project working with CAN's housing effort.
