New Mexico: Southwest CARE Has AIDS Day Events

November 24, 2009

Southwest Comprehensive AIDS Care, Research and Education (CARE) Center will host a World AIDS Day gathering at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 1 at the Railyard. Founded in 1996, the center serves some 600 area residents. The event will include the lighting of farolitos, or paper lanterns, decorated with the red AIDS ribbon, plus prayers, songs, and remembrances.
