Florida: HIV Patients Sought for Study

October 28, 2009

Pensacola area HIV patients are being recruited for a study of an investigational drug therapy for persons whose treatment regimen is losing its effectiveness. The study's drug candidate is a member of the non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor drug class. Persons chosen to participate will have access to certain HIV medications and potentially to the study drug; they will also receive study-related medical care and monitoring. Infectious Diseases Associates of Northwest Florida is conducting the study. For more information, telephone 850-476-3131 or e-mail abrown@infectioncenter.com.
