U.S. News California: HIV and Aging ForumSeptember 21, 2009 A town hall meeting entitled "The Consequences and Management of HIV and Aging" will take place on Sept. 24 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the San Francisco LGBT Community Center, 1800 Market St. The meeting will seek to address challenges facing persons with HIV who, thanks to effective drug therapies, are surviving into their senior years. Scheduled speakers include Dr. Steven Deeks of San Francisco General Hospital; Peter Carnini, MA, of New Leaf: Services for our Community; and Matt Sharp of Project Inform, which is presenting the forum with co-sponsorship by Abbott Laboratories.
