Mississippi: HIV/AIDS Focus of Campaign

"Rap-It-Up," a national HIV/AIDS awareness campaign, will be presented by the state Health Department and Black Entertainment Television on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Rose E. McCoy Auditorium of Jackson State University. Other partners in the effort include Building Bridges, My Brother's Keeper, Grace House, Jackson Medical Mall Foundation, and 100 Black Women Central Chapter of Mississippi. Panelists -- including comic and actor Joe Clair and Jessica Reedy, runner-up of BET's "Sunday Best" -- will present information on HIV testing and other topics.
