To support its participation in the National Institutes of Health's HIV Prevention Trials Network, Emory University will receive a $4.8 million grant over three years. The Emory HIV Clinical Trials Unit will take part in two studies. One will estimate the overall HIV incidence rate among at-risk US women and determine the feasibility of evaluating a cohort of this population. Another will evaluate the feasibility of an intervention among African-American men who have sex with men. Recruitment for both trials is underway; for more information, telephone 877-424-4673 or visit www.hopeclinic.emory.edu.
