Nevada: Health Summit Scheduled
July 17, 2009
New requirements for reporting and responding to health care-associated infections will be the topic of a July 22-23 summit in Las Vegas sponsored by the state Health Division. The topic has received renewed attention since last year, when more than 40,000 patients of two Las Vegas ambulatory surgical centers were potentially exposed to hepatitis C due to unsafe injection practices.
