Washington, D.C.: Housing Department Seeks Residents' Views

November 11, 2008

The Department of Housing and Community Development is holding a series of meetings at which members of the public are invited to comment on issues related to affordable housing. The first meeting, at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, will deal with special-needs housing, including for the homeless, persons with AIDS and the disabled. It will take place at the department's offices, 801 N. Capitol St. NE, ninth-floor board room. Additional hearings will be held on Nov. 20 at the Greater Washington Urban League, 2901 14th St. NW, and on Nov. 25 at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church, 2616 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE.
