International News Southeast Asian HIV/AIDS Task Force Opens Meeting to Discuss Cooperation in Fighting Against DiseaseNovember 5, 2008 The 16th meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Task Force on AIDS opened on Monday in Hanoi, Vietnam, and is being attended by 10 ASEAN member representatives and international organizations, the Vietnam News Brief Service reports. The meeting is part of ASEAN's efforts to increase regional cooperation in curbing the spread of HIV/AIDS and reinforce its ties with regional and international organizations.
