The International Foundation for Alternative Research in AIDS (IFARA) is a community-based organization which produces "TIE" (Treatment Information Exchange), a one-hour weekly TV program. "TIE" is an HIV/AIDS education/information program, which focuses on HIV drug treatment, complementary treatment, treatment access, co-diseases and prevention. TIE may be viewed in over one million households in the Northwest United States. Special programs are distributed though satellite transmission and tape to cable stations across the country. County and city libraries, as well as hospital and university libraries, also loan VHS and DVDs of selected programs. Distribution and programming questions may be addressed to IFARA@comcast.net.
