So, when I received the first e-mail about how I was being "wrung through the mud" on a popular "ex-gay" Christian website (ironically moderated by a guy who goes by the name of DL ... go figure), I took it as a cheap shot for controversy and continued on with my day. My days, after all, are pretty full. So focusing energy on something so obviously rooted in internalized homophobia was not something I was willing, nor able, to sacrifice. Mon., Oct. 6, 2008 at 1:46 pm EDT Everything that exists does so because of God and everything God does is out of grace. Our lives and all that is endured within its frame is out of God's grace and therefor a blessing. Whether it's HIV/AIDS or some form of cancer, God has given us the ability to deal with it and learn more how to live in God's grace by it.

Mon., Oct. 6, 2008 at 3:38 am EDT I've learned in life that despite our own struggles for survival there will always be that one person who, for the love of his /her own, would still seek opportunistic approaches of deceitfulness for their own insular self gain. Having shared very similar experiences in life, I've learned to cope with it. The author are indeed not alone.
