Thu., May. 29, 2008 at 9:56 pm EDT As a recovering alcoholic/addict, I can say for sure that if your head isn't into recovery, you will fail, no matter what you try. On the other hand, if you want sobriety more than you want to die, then you can find a way to get, and stay, clean and sober. Find a 12 step fellowship, find a spiritual path, find a therapist, find something, anything that you think might work for you. All of these things are a damn sight cheaper than $15000. If you want it, you don't need much more than a desire to stop, and a path to help you find/crawl/scream your way out of the miserable bottom that you have reached.
