April 11, 2008

On Saturday, the "Stomp Out AIDS Step Show" will be held to raise AIDS awareness at the University of Texas-Arlington. Delta Xi Nu is hosting the event, which will feature competition among members of the Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity, the Sigma Lambda Gamma sorority and the Sigma Lambda Alpha honor society. "Seventy percent of college students are sexually active," said Victoria Idio, Delta Xi Nu's secretary. "We felt we needed to talk about the powerful consequences of having sex."
