Pennsylvania: Free HIV Testing to Be Offered Thursday

On Feb. 7, as part of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Community Health & Education Outreach will offer free rapid HIV testing and counseling, education and information on related topics at its Collingdale headquarters. The nonprofit, which serves Delaware County and West Philadelphia, is offering all individuals who test the chance to win a $50 cash prize in a drawing. The program will be held 1-7 p.m. at 13-19 MacDade Blvd., Suite 108-109. According to the state Department of Health, Philadelphia County ranks first and Delaware County third in reported HIV/AIDS cases in Pennsylvania.
