U.S. News South Carolina: United Methodists to Discuss AIDS CrisisOctober 31, 2007 South Carolina United Methodists are gathering this week to address ways to respond to AIDS around the world. Meetings will be held Thursday at Frances Burns United Methodist Church in Columbia and Edisto Fort United Methodist Church in Orangeburg. Don Messer, executive director of the Center for the Church and Global AIDS, will speak Friday at a breakfast at Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church in Columbia.
