Kenya Set to Host Global Women's Conference on HIV/AIDS

Next week, the World Fellowship Committee of the World YWCA will welcome some 2,000 delegates from 90 nations to Nairobi, Kenya, for the International Women's Summit on Women's Leadership and HIV/AIDS. "The Women's Summit seeks to address the impact of AIDS on women and girls, exploring issues such as poverty, violence against women, children's rights and access to decision-making, and resources," said Mwajuma Abok, secretary-general of YWCA Kenya.
