California: Cycling for a Cause

May 23, 2007

The AIDS/LifeCycle bike ride begins in San Francisco on June 3. Riders on the 545-mile trek are to arrive in Los Angeles on June 9. The ride, which will involve some 2,600 cyclists and volunteers, is expected to raise an estimated $9 million to support the services of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center.
