International News OraSure Sells HIV Tests to MadagascarMay 2, 2007 Bethlehem, Pa.-based OraSure Technologies announced that the government of Madagascar will use its rapid HIV test in a nationwide HIV/AIDS control program. The African island nation plans to use the OraQuick test on 400,000 people this year. Approximately 140,000 people were tested last year. OraQuick is the only U.S. government-approved rapid test that can detect HIV in both blood and saliva.
