Missouri: Event Planned for HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

March 6, 2007

March 10 marks the second annual National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. In recognition, a special event will be held March 9 at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center, 3700 Blue Pkwy., Kansas City. HIV testing and educational exhibits will be available; performer River Huston, who is HIV-positive, will be keynote speaker.
